Carpet installation tools are designed for cutting, trimming, stretching and pasting carpets easily. Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of these tools from brands like Cable Prep, Westward, Roberts and Marshalltown. Roberts double-sided acrylic tapes are easy to apply as they eliminate the need for a tack strip or seaming iron. They feature a non-toxic acrylic adhesive for reinforcing strength and providing an instant bond during the installation process. Seam rollers from Marshalltown enhance surface quality and are equipped with DuraSoft handles to improve comfort & reduce fatigue.
Carpet seam rollers have a steel body for structural rigidity and a plastic roller for uniform levelling.
Seaming the carpet keeps the tension line straight. It also avoids peak / lift by the seam splitting / separating when stretched.
Acrylic is used in tape manufacturing because it is temperature and oxidation-resistant.
