Working Mechanism:
- Connect the wand / hose to both the inlet and discharge side of the unit.
- Tighten the filters and use a small amount of fluid to lubricate the internal gears.
- Place the inlet wand into the machinery / container to be emptied / filtered and place the discharge wand into a clean container.
- Turn On the high-viscosity filtration cart after connecting it to a power supply.
- Fluid will now start flowing through the inlet hose/wand, pump, filter assembly, check valve and discharge hose/wand.
- Use the sample parts between the filters to test the fluid condition.
- Switch Off the unit after filtering the fluid. Wrap the power cable around the handle and remove the wands.
- Place the wands into their rings on the cart sides. Wipe off / catch any fluid left in the wand tips by using an absorbent pad.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. What are the uses of the check valve in this high-viscosity filtration cart?
A. A check valve stops the flow of fluid into the filter assembly when the unit is in bypass mode. It also prevents the backflow of fluids when pumped vertically.
Q. When do we need to replace the filter elements?
A. This Trico 36970 high-viscosity filtration cart comprises differential pressure gauges that show an increase in pressure differential between these gauges as the filter elements get clogged up. We need to replace the filter elements when this pressure differential between two gauges reaches 40 psi. If the user does not replace the filter elements till the measure reaches 43 psi, the unit will go into bypass mode and no longer filter the oil / fluid.
