Supco SPP5 hard start kit designed to add starting torque and reduce heavy strain and heat caused by high inrush current during motor start up in AC compressors
Features 2-wire configuration which parallelly connects a start capacitor and positive temperature coefficient (PTC) relay with the compressor-run capacitor
Super boosts the compresser speed and then drops the start capacitor once the torque level increases up to to 300 per cent
Reduces start time by 50 per cent and prevents excessive damage to components by minimising the in-rush current period
