It features an automated head clamp to eliminate snipe, and double-edge planer blades for producing 12-inch wide cuts.
This Makita planer comes equipped with a detachable tool box for storing the equipment and an optional dust hood to connect the dust collection system with the planer.
The 4-post design, diagonal cross supports and large table extensions of this planer ensure stability of both the planer and the workpiece.
This Makita power planer runs on a powerful 1650 W motor that is capable of delivering speeds up to 8500 rpm.
Another Makita planer, capable of delivering speeds up to 12000 rpm, is also available.
