Abanaki STUBE1 tube oil skimmer is used to skim the surface of fluid to remove floating oil or grease using skimming media. This TubeTastic! unit skims oil from machining centres with little or no access to the coolant sump from above. It is widely used in the food industry to remove vegetable oil and grease.
Working Mechanism:
- The collector tube goes through the surface of the coolant and collects undesirable oils by using an existing aperture or constructing a small access notch.
- The oil is then discharged through the discharge tube into a waste oil receptacle for disposal.
Features:
- Abanaki STUBE1 tube oil skimmer has a fan-cooled continuous duty motor to support long operating hours.
- This TubeTastic! unit can be easily mounted to the side of any machining centre coolant slump.
