Working Mechanism

  • Recoil installation tool's mandrel is wound into the insert and then installed into the desired tapped hole. The insert's diameter gets reduced, offering easy installation. The mandrel of the tool can be removed while leaving the insert in place by turning the unit's crank in the counter-clockwise direction.
  • Recoil tangless removal tools are simply threaded into the installed insert to be removed for grabbing the removal notch and threading out the insert without damaging the tapped threads or the surface of the casting.
