Dayton general purpose motors are used in water heaters, pumps, ovens and off-road motorised equipment. These motors feature steel frames for structural rigidity & corrosion resistance, and are equipped with ball bearings for low rotational friction. They deliver speeds up to 3460 rpm and allow face / base mounting for easy installation. These TENV motors provide a maximum efficiency of 89.8%, and are available in 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 1/6 & 3/4 hp variants.

The general-purpose AC motors are designed for applications in compressors, machine tools, pumps, conveyors and fans. AC motors, such as servo motors, washdown motors, fire pump motors and air compressor motors, have a break down torque varying up to 1030 lb-ft and are offered in rigid, no mount and bracket mount base types.
