Little Giant submersible sump pumps drain out water from basement sump pits and manage while being completely underwater. They are immersed in the water to cool the pump motors so that they can operate longer without getting overheated. These pumps come equipped with a switch that starts the pump motor when sump pit water rises to a required height and stops the pump motor when the water comes down.

Features

  • Little Giant submersible sewage pumps are of the centrifugal variant having a unique design to allow solids to pass through the pump without clogging.
  • It has a permanent split capacitor motor for continuous duty operations.
  • Most of these pumps have cast iron motor housing for structural rigidity.
  • These pumps are equipped with vortex impellers and a large outlet at the top with no bottom screen to allow debris flow while preventing clogging during effluent transfer.

Working Mechanism
