Norton Abrasives all purpose cut off wheels provide fast cuts on foundry cut-off applications including stainless steels, hard & soft carbon steels, titanium, tool steels, ductiles, gray irons, superalloys & casts. They feature aluminium oxide or zirconia alumina construction for exceptional cut rates and have high performance resin bonds & reinforcements to withstand high pressures & aggressive demanding applications. These wheels offer improved abrasive durability, resistance to heat & side pressures and come with Type 1 cut-off quality providing increased cutting surfaces & minimum interference with the workpieces. The optimal bond hardness in selected models bring excellent blends of cut rates & life and are available in abrasive grits of 20, 24 & 100.

Norton grinding wheels are used for tool shaping and sharpening, stock removal and surface grinding applications in metal fabrication, manufacturing and construction industries. These grinding wheels can also be used with bench, pedestal and precision grinders. Norton wheels have abrasive grains held together by a vitrified bond which offers a high ratio of material removal to wheel use. For multiple grinding applications, these wheels come in fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse-grained variants with aluminium oxide, silicon carbide or ceramic alumina as the abrasive material. Norton abrasive grinding wheels are also offered in different wheel diameters, arbor and grit sizes, thicknesses and rotational speeds (1625 - 4965 rpm).

Norton Abrasives cut off wheels are ideal for surface grinding, notching and cutting applications. They feature self sharpening zirconia alumina abrasive construction to provide long life & fast cuts and the cutting edge bond technology deliver supreme performance in foundry cut off operations. These wheels can withstand aggressive demanding applications and the integrated new bond technology ensures improved thermal stability, heat-resistance & mechanical strengths. The extra coarse grits deliver moderate material removal, initial blending of mismatched surfaces & welds and are available in thicknesses of 3 & 5 inches.

The Type 1 straight grinding wheels feature an aluminium oxide / ceramic alumina / silicon carbide / zirconia alumina abrasive designed for precision and rough grinding as well as sharpening and shaping applications on different materials such as aluminium, cast iron, bronze, steel and brass. These durable grinding wheels can be used with bench grinder workstations, electric and pneumatic hand-held grinding machines, and surface grinder machines.
We offer a wide range of Norton, PFERD and Westward straight grinding wheels in different diameters, arbor sizes, hardness grades and grit sizes.
