800 Series Deep Draw, 4 Valve Manifold

Imperial 800 Series 4 valve manifolds are ideal for HVAC and refrigeration applications. They feature 4 times faster evacuation than ordinary manifolds and have a soft-seat valve design. These manifolds are equipped with colour coded scales for pulsation & vibration resistance and have extended gauge life. Additionally, their ergonomic handles eleminate skidding even with oily hands and swivel hangers provide easy rotation. They can withstand working pressures up to 800 psi and have rugged, lightweight bodies with laser-etched graphics for improved visibility.
Raptor Supplies also offers Imperial 600 Series 2 valve manifolds with dual O-rings.

600 Series 4-Valve Brass Manifold Gauges, 3/8 Inch Port

Imperial 600 Series manifold gauges for refrigerant testing or charging in air conditioning & refrigeration systems. These precision gauges feature unique design with colour coded scales that resists shocks, vibrations and pulsations to provide excellent impact protection and ergonomic handles for strong grip even with oily fingers. They feature 4-valve connection (vacuum, low side, high side, and refrigerant lines) that can be individually controlled. These manifolds also feature PolarShield Hi-Performance hoses to handle a maximum of 800 and 4000 psi working and burst pressures, respectively.
Raptor Supplies also offers Imperial 2-valve brass manifold set available in 36 and 60 inch hose lengths.

400 Series Deluxe 2-Valve Manifold Gauges, 1/4 Inch Inlet

Imperial 400 Series Gauge manifolds monitor the pressures of the HVAC/R system while operating & release moisture & contaminants, thereby preventing system damage. Their unique body design offers superior resistance to shocks, vibrations and pulsations for flutter free operations and extended gauge life. They are equipped with a gauge boot for protecting against impact blows in harsh conditions and high visibility faceplates with colour coded scales for easy reading. The Imperial 400 Series deluxe brass manifolds are compatible with R-22, R-404A, R-410A refrigerants and are available in 36 and 60 inch hose lengths. Raptor Supplies also offers Imperial 800 Series manifold with 4-valve configuration to provide 4 times more evacuation / charging process.

Features

  • Imperial manifold gauge sets contain a manifold with 3 / 4 hoses for connecting to HVAC & monitoring the flow.
  • They are compatible with R-22, R-404A, R-410A refrigerants.
  • These imperial gauge manifolds have 2 / 3 / 4 valves for controlling the pressure / flow of refrigerants.
  • The gauges have protective boots and are flutter less for minimising the needle pulsation when checking pressure / flow specifications.
  • The gauge, valve & hose lines are colour coded (red, blue & yellow) for indicating the pressure and preventing cross-contamination.
  • The hose lines have a length of 36 / 60 inches and can be quickly screwed into the manifold & HVAC ports.

Working Mechanism

  • The red line / hose from the red coloured manifold gauge section is connected to the high-pressure side of the HVAC equipment's cooling line.
  • The blue coloured hose from the blue coloured section of the manifold gauge set is connected to the low-pressure side of the cooling unit. It determines the vacuum pressure in the system.
  • Yellow coloured hose line is attached to the centre of the manifold set for discharging / recharging the refrigerant using suitable equipment.
  • When refrigerant is being added to the system, the yellow hose is attached to a refrigerant bottle & the red hose is connected to the unit.
  • While releasing refrigerant from an HVAC unit, the low-pressure blue hose is connected to the unit and the yellow hose is attached to a vacuum pump or refrigerant recovery machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should users purge a gauge manifold?

The gauge manifolds & the connecting hoses should be purged after use to prevent system contamination due to air & moisture. Gauge port caps should be applied to prevent entry of dust / debris.

What is the difference between a 3 port and 4 port manifold gauge set?

A 3-port manifold gauge set is generally used in basic industrial applications. Users can choose 4-port manifold gauge sets for large HVAC systems and vacuum pulling applications.

What coloured hose should be used to connect the manifold gauge to the inlet of a recovery machine?

Yellow coloured hose should be used to connect the manifold gauge to a refrigerant recovery machine.

What is the use of the centre hose on an Imperial manifold gauge set?

The yellow coloured hose at the centre of a manifold gauge is ideal for recharging refrigerant in the system or evacuating refrigerant out of the system.
