  • These wide-mouth drum funnels prevent dangerous spills when transferring liquids into the relatively small 2-inch bung on a 30 or 55-gallon drum.
  • The funnels that are intended for use with flammables are fitted with a brass flame arrester to absorb and dissipate heat for preventing any external ignition source from reaching the drum's flammable contents.
  • They feature 18-gauge galvanised steel / zinc construction with an electrostatically applied epoxy powder-coat finish for enhanced durability and chemical resistance.
  • Self-close models, such as 08227, have a fusible link that melts at 165 degrees F, shutting the cover automatically in case of a fire to extinguish flames.
  • Justrite flame arresters are used with flammables that are fitted with a brass flame arrester to absorb and dissipate heat to prevent any external ignition source from reaching the drum's flammable contents. They feature a large steel funnel with a self-closing cover for structural rigidity and enhanced safety.
