Features

  • They allow wall mounting for easy installation.
  • Selected models (4074ETH/U) are used with F50 and F58 electronic air cleaners and are interfaced with conventional motherboards. They feature round individual sockets at the ends of all wires.

Working Mechanism

  • Flow switches are operated by a connected paddle that gets displaced as gas or water passes. If the volume of flowing substance is too low or high, these switches will shut the circuit off for preventing damage to the pump system.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of signals do flow switches use?

Flow switches monitor the flow of steam, air and liquid. They send a trip signal to the pump and indicate to the pump to turn On or Off as per the decrease or increase in pressure.

Where do you put a flow switch?

The flow switch should ideally be placed in a horizontal section of a pipe with a straight horizontal run of at least 5 pipe diameters on all sides of the switch. The flow switch should be mounted in a vertical pipe when the direction of flow is upward.
