DAYTON Dampers

Dayton HVAC dampers (also called duct dampers) are located inside air-handling equipment such as duct systems, chimneys & VAV boxes to regulate airflow and redirect it to specific areas. These dampers feature high quality galvanised steel bodies & extruded aluminium blade material for preventing rust formation and enduring outside weather, respectively. Mostly used with ductwork of low to medium airflow velocity, these control dampers can be utilised as positive shutoffs to keep the machine from over-speeding and getting damaged or for automatic control in low-leakage HVAC systems. The backdraft dampers used in ventilation systems are low-leakage control dampers with spring-assisted blades that restrict airflow to one direction only so that the ventilation system works correctly. Dayton volume control dampers are offered in round and square designs to serve different applications of controlling airflow and pressure in HVAC systems.

Control Damper

Dayton volume control dampers are used for regulating the volume of air passing through duct systems and provide a positive shutoff for modulating airflow in HVAC systems. These units have 16 gauge galvanised steel construction to withstand high temperatures up to 180 degrees F and prevent damage in tough environments. They feature symmetrical opposed blade configuration to regulate airflow in either direction and have stainless steel bearings for smooth operation. Choose from an array of these control dampers, available in 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 inch duct diameters.

Volume Control Dampers

Dayton square control dampers provide a positive shutoff & regulate the volume of air passing through duct systems. These dampers feature extruded aluminium / galvanised steel frame for preventing damage against highly abrasive environments. Selected models feature symmetrical opposed blade configuration for modulating airflow in either direction. Choose from an extensive range of these volume control dampers, available for 10, 12, 16, 18 & 24 inch duct widths.
