Albion floor locks are designed to prevent carts, platform trucks, work benches and other similar portable equipment from rolling while loading and unloading. These heavy-duty locks feature ergonomically designed extended foot pedals; moulded rubber, non-skid brake shoes; high-compression springs and steel caster tops. They can be activated by applying slight pressure on the foot pedal and released by pressing one of the dual retractable plates. They come with a corrosion-resistant zinc plate for mounting and are recommended for use on level surfaces only.

The floor locks keep mobile racks, carts and other wheeled equipment in stationary position and feature foot pedals to be stepped-on for engaging spring-loaded brake pads that press against the floor to create friction, thereby preventing the caster wheels from moving.
