Wilton C / shoe clamps are used for holding a wooden or metallic workpiece during welding or carpentry operations. These Wilton tools feature a metal bar, attached perpendicularly to the screw to gain leverage while tightening the clamp. They are made of cast-iron / steel / drop-forged steel for structural rigidity and are capable of withstanding loads up to 40000 lb. Selected models (400 Series units) feature a V-grooved anvil for a tight grip irrespective of the shape - round, square or flat. They have replaceable Perma-pads and spindles.
