Titan HD, a product brand of Packard, is a leading manufacturer of USA-made capacitors designed for energy storing, power conditioning, signal coupling or decoupling, electronic noise filtering and remote sensing applications. Titan capacitors feature a metalised polypropylene film wiring that provides a self-restoring capacity during breakdown events, and a UL-listed pressure-sensitive interrupter which allows easy removal from the circuit at the end of life. These single- / dual-section devices further come equipped with a patented, environmentally friendly oil to prevent corrosion and help facilitate optimum heat transfer. They are available in a capacitance range of 2 - 10 microfarad, with a survival rate of 94 percent after using for about 60000 hours.
